I am a Canadian, hearing, visual artist. I work with a variety of materials including; clay, acrylic paint, paper mache, and plastic. During the past two years I enjoyed studying all levels of Sign Language offered at the Canadian Hearing Society. I learned Sign Language because I have a niece who is deaf. Inspired by her and also the visual beauty of the language I have created artwork based on the American Sign Language alphabet. - Susie Whaley |
